Srinagar 12 March (KNB): A Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officer breathed his last after suffering a heart attack this morning in the Udhampur area of Jammu.
As per sources, the deceased officer, Sajad Sumbria, was at his home when he suffered a heart attack, which necessitated him to be taken to a nearby hospital in the area where he was declared dead.
The death of a KAS officer adds to the numbers of heart attacks that have taken place in the J&K.
Pertinent to mention that Sumbria was District Information Officer currently and had served at other important positions as well. (KNB)
