Journalists’ Protest in Bandipora Against Administration Amid DDC Election Counting

Bandipora 22 December (KNB): Journalists linked with different media organizations, walked out of the mini-secretariat in Bandipora and held a sit-in protest against the administrations, reportedly for not providing enough facilities to cover the election outcome.

As per Kashmir News Bureau reports, the journalists implored the authorities for the proper facilities, helping to cover the elections. But not a single arrangement was provided to them.

The President Bandipora Journalist association Mohammad Syed Beigh said that there were no proper arrangements for the media and had to move from pillar to post from early morning.

However, the associations of both Sumbal and Bandipora journalists also registered a strong protest against the administration for the treatment handed out to the journalists in Bandipora. (KNB)
