Job Aspirants of RMSA allege delay in recruitment process

Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNB): The job aspirants for the post of Programmers and Assistant Programmers at Directorate of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyaan (RMSA) have alleged delay in recruitment process following the advertisement was published under vide Notification No.Edu /RMSA/ Adm /05/2017 dated /06/2017, was published and for the said posts JKBOSE had conducted the written test.


Important to know the scheme was launched in 2009 in Jammu and Kashmir with the objective to enhance the access to secondary education and to improve its quality. The scheme was implemented through NOOR society in the state.

While taking to Kashmir News Bureau, one of the aspirants pleading anonymity, “It has been now more than a year when the all process of this said recruitment had started. Why they are lingering us if the selection process is completed,” he asked.

The list of shortlisted candidates was issued by RMSA through its website which is still available there.

Pertinently, the interviews of shortlisted candidates were conducted on 23/05/2018 and 24/05/2018 at Srinagar for candidates from Kashmir and on 02/06/2018 and 03/05/2018 for candidates of Jammu at Jammu for which JKBOSE had issued hard copies of shortlisted candidates for conducting of interviews. On the basis of overall performance of the candidates in written test and interview selection committee had prepared the selection list of the candidates, but the list is not published publically yet.




When KNB contacted Administrative Officer RMSA, Nazir Ahmad Wani said, “Selection list is ready but we are waiting for the approval from higher authorities for the publication of the list”.

“Directorate of RMSA had sought the permission for the publication of the selection list of the candidates from Administrative Department vides Letter No. Edu/SPD/SS/Sec/Adm/349/18 dated 12/07/2018,” he said. (KNB)
