Srinagar 8 April (KNB): Government on Thursday informed that 835 new positive cases of novel Corona virus have been recorded in Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials stated that 280 cases were reported from Jammu division and 555 from Kashmir division today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in the Union Territory to 135662.
One Covid-19 death has also been reported from Kashmir Division, officials added.
Moreover, they stated that 246 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 22 from Jammu Division and 224 from Kashmir Division.
According to the statement, out of 135662 positive cases, 5623 are Active Positive, 128020 have recovered and 2019 have died so far; 745 in Jammu division and 1274 in Kashmir division.
they said that out of 6373912 test results available, 6238250 samples have been tested as negative till 08thApril, 2021. (KNB)
