Srinagar 26 APRIL (KNB): 2135 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (Covid-19) were reported on Monday in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Government said.
Officials said that out of the 2135 Covid-19 cases, 791 from were reported from Jammu division and 1344 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 162890.
As per the Government, 25 COVID-19 deaths have been reported out of which 14 deaths were reported from Jammu Division and 11 fatalities from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, as per the officials, 1067 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 478 from Jammu Division and 589 from Kashmir Division.
Officials said that out of 162890 positive cases, 20601 are Active Positive, 140117 have recovered and 2172 have died; 828 in Jammu division and 1344 in Kashmir division.
Furthermore, officials said that out of 7080758 test results available, 6917868 samples have been tested as negative till 26thApril (Monday). (KNB)
