Srinagar 11 June (KNB): The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday reported 17 deaths due to novel coronavirus and 906 positive cases.
As per the Government data, 244 cases were recorded from Jammu division and 662 from Kashmir division today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in UT to 305772.
Officials said that 17 Covid-19 deaths were reported out of which 9 were from Jammu and 8 from Kashmir.
Moreover, 1885 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 712 from Jammu and 1173 from Kashmir.
As per the officials, out of 305772 positive cases, 17585 are Active Positive, 284027 have recovered and 4160 have died; 2022 in Jammu division and 2138 in Kashmir division.
Officials said that out of 9083419 test results available, 8777647 samples have been tested as negative till 11th June, 2021. (KNB)
