Srinagar 19 February (KNB): A likely key reshuffle in the Jammu and Kashmir Police administration is going to be witnessed in the offing, with major changes in the postings and transfers of higher-ranked police officials expected soon.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police’s top official ranks’ reshuffle is anticipated to take place in the immediate future after the police administration came directly within the ambit of Union Home Ministry post abrogation of Article 370 on 5th August 2019.
It is believed that the reshuffle in the posts of DGP, IGP, SSPs and SPs of J&K Police is around the corner, and the orders related to transfers and postings of senior officials are ready to put into effect.
However, the Director General of Police J&K Dilbagh Singh is also expected in the list and maybe put at an important place. Further, the current postings of IGPs of both Jammu and Kashmir divisions will be taken by some other police officials. (KNB)
