Srinagar, May 13 (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma on Tuesday said that political leaders in J&K will reduce the size of their official convoys as a precautionary measure, following a similar step taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers.

As per news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB, Sharma, while speaking to the media, said the decision has been taken in view of the ongoing global crisis and the need to conserve fuel and other essential resources.

He said that after the Prime Minister and Union Ministers scaled down their convoys, J&K leaders would also adopt the same approach as a responsible measure.

“This is a global crisis. We all have to take necessary care regarding fuel and other things,” Sharma said.(KNB)
