J&K Bags four Gold Medal In “First International Beach Combat Games” held in Goa

Srinagar 22 Jan (KNB): Martial arts players from the state have won four gold medals at the recent ‘ First International Beach Combat Games’ event held in Goa from 17 to 20 January.




According to official statement, Participants from J&K took part in the mega sporting event. The medals were won by Arsalan Rashid from India defeated Irani fighter in his final fight under weight 90 Kg while Ubair Mushtaq from India defeated Irani fighter under weight 55kg.

Sahil Manzoor from India defeated UAE fighter in final under weight 50kg and Sameer Farooq from India defeated Nepal fighter under weight 60Kg.

Important to mention here, From Last few Years, Kashmiri boys and girls are showing much interest in martial art and have successfully made their place by winning Gold and silver medals in different games. (KNB)
