Srinagar 4 February (KNB): After receiving the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that it is safe and requested police personnels to take the jab without any doubt.
As the 2nd Phase of vaccination drive started from PCR Srinagar and all district headquarters across the Kashmir valley, IGP Kashmir received the first vaccine shot and said that it didn’t cause any harm, “It is Safe”.
Kumar further requested police personnels to take the vaccine shot without any doubt and said that people must cooperate with police in every social activity.
He said that in the second phase of vaccination programme Police, Army, Paramilitary, other security agencies and officials of municipalities as well as revenue department will be vaccinated.
Pertinently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive virtually on January 16 2020, terming it as the “world’s largest vaccination programme”. (KNB)
