Bandipora 13 Feb(KNB): The Indian Army organized a vibrant Snow Festival at Kiatson village, bringing together residents from nearby villages including Ducky, Dangarnar, Chechinar, and Chuntawadi in a celebration of unity and community spirit. The event featured lively cultural dance performances by local children and traditional games such as tug of war and kabaddi, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, elders, and women.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that the festival served as a platform to enhance interaction and strengthen bonds of trust and friendship between the Army and the local populace. As part of its continued efforts to promote sports and youth development, a volleyball net was presented to the youth of the village. The program concluded with refreshments for all participants, leaving behind a spirit of joy, cooperation, and shared celebration, and reaffirming the Indian Army’s commitment to community outreach and goodwill.(KNB)
