Srinagar 22 November (KNB): India has reported 8,488 new cases of Covid19, which is lowest in 538 days, with 249 covid19 fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,39,34,547 covid19 patients have recovered so far in the country and 12,510 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 1,18,443, which constitutes 0.34 percent of the total cases, lowest since March 2020,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.08 percent, a figure less than two percent for the last 49 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 0.93 percent, which is less than two percent for the last 59 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 116.87 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 63.25 Cr. total tests have been conducted so far throughout the country. (KNB)
