Srinagar 10 June (KNB): India reported 6,148 deaths due to novel coronavirus and 94,052 new cases in last 24 hours. The country has recorded less than 1 lakh Daily New Cases for 3 continuous days now, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Total fatalities due to the deadly virus has now reached 3,59,676 and total Covid-19 cases across the country has reached 2,91,83,121.
The Health Ministry said that India has been witnessing a continuous fall in the active caseload. The country’s Active Caseload today stands at 11,67,952. The Caseload is maintained below 20 lakhs for ten successive days.
As per the Health Ministry, India’s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 28th consecutive day, as 1,51,367 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.
“57,315 more recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases,” officials said.
The Health Ministry said that testing capacity has substantially been ramped up and in total, 37.21 crore Covid-19 tests have been conducted so far.
Moreover, Vaccine doses administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive has crosses the 24 crore mark (24,27,26,693). (KNB)
