Srinagar 4 September (KNB): India reports 42,618 new novel coronavirus cases and 330 fatalities due to deadly virus in the last 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the morning update by the Health Ministry, India’s active caseload stands at 4,05,681 and active cases account for 1.23 per cent of total cases.
The Health Ministry said that there have been 36,385 recoveries in the last 24 hours, which has increased the total recoveries to 3,21,00,001 and the recovery rate currently stands at 97.43 per cent.
The MoHFW said that the daily positivity rate is reported to be 2.50 per cent and the weekly positivity rate stands at 2.63 per cent, which is less than 3 per cent for the last 71 days.
Moreover, the Health Ministry informed that 67.72 Crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and a total of 52.82 crore tests have been conducted so far across the country. (KNB)
