Srinagar 17 July (KNB): India reported 38,079 novel coronavirus cases and 560 deaths in last 24 hours, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday.
As per the morning update from the Health Ministry, there have been 3,02,27,792 total recoveries across the country so far and the recovery rate has increased to 97.31 per cent.
“43,916 patients have recovered during last 24 hours,” they added.
Health Ministry said that India’s active caseload currently stands at 4,24,025 and active cases constitute 1.36 per cent of the total cases.
Moreover, weekly positivity rate remains below 5 per cent and currently stands at 2.10 per cent. The daily positivity rate stands 1.91 per cent which is less than 3 per cent for 26 consecutive days.
As per MoHFW, 39.96 crore. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and the resting capacity has been substantially ramped up as well; a total of 44.20 crore tests have been conducted. (KNB)
