Srinagar 17 September (KNB): India reported 34,403 new novel coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the morning update by the Health Ministry, active cases account for 1.02 per cent of total cases and India’s active caseload stands at 3,39,056.
The recovery rate currently stands at 97.65 per cent and there have been 37,950 recoveries in the last 24 hours, which has increased the total recoveries to 3,25,98,424, according to the update.
The MoHFW said that the weekly positivity rate stands at 1.97 per cent, which remains less than 3 per cent for the last 84 days and the daily positivity rate stands at 2.25 per cent, which is less than 3 per cent for the last 18 days.
Moreover, the Health Ministry informed that 77.24 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and a total of 54.92 crore covid tests have conducted so far across the country. (KNB)
