Srinagar 11 September (KNB): India reported 33,376 new novel coronavirus cases and 308 fatalities due to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
With 33,376 new cases, countries total case count has reached 3,32,08,330 and the total deaths due to the infection, including the 308 new fatalities, has reached 4,42,317.
As per the morning update, India’s active caseload stands at 3,91,516 and the active cases account for 1.18 per cent of total cases.
There have been 32,198 recoveries in the last 24 hours, which has increased the total recoveries across the country to 3,23,74,497 and the recovery rate currently at 97.49 per cent.
MoHFW said that the weekly positivity rate stands at 2.26 per cent, which has remained less than 3 per cent for the last 78 days and the daily positivity rate stands at 2.10 per cent, which has remained less than 3 per cent for the last 12 days.
Moreover, the Health Ministry informed that 73.05 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and a total of 54.01 crore tests have been conducted across the country so far. (KNB)
