Srinagar 13 July (KNB): India reported 31,443 new novel coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Tuesday.
As per the morning update by the Health Ministry, 2020 deaths due Covid-19 have been reported across the country, taking the total death toll to 410784.
The Health Ministry said that there have been 3,00,63,720 total recoveries across the country so far and the recovery rate has increased to 97.28 per cent.
49,007patients have recovered during the last 24 hours, as per the Health Ministry data.
They said that India’s active caseload currently stands at 4,31,315, which is the lowest in 109 days and these active cases constitute 1.40 per cent of total cases.
Weekly positivity rate remains below 5 per cent and currently stands at 2.28 per cent. Daily positivity rate stands at 1.81 per cent which is less than 3 percent for 22 consecutive days.
Moreover, 38.14 Crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
The Health Ministry said that the testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and a total of 43.40 crore tests have been conducted so far. (KNB)
