Srinagar 16 September (KNB): India reported 30,570 new novel coronavirus cases and 431 deaths due to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the morning update by the Health Ministry, the country’s total Covid-19 cases has now reached 3,33,47,325 and total fatalities due to the infection has reached 4,43,928.
The Health Ministry said that the India’s active caseload stands at 3,42,923 and the active cases account for 1.03 per cent of the total cases.
The recovery rate currently stands at 97.64 per cent and there have been 38,303 recoveries in the last 24 hours, which has increased the total recoveries to 3,25,60,474 so far.
The MoHFW said that daily positivity rate stands at 1.94 per cent, which remains less than 3 per cent for the last 17 days and the weekly positivity rate stands at 1.93 per cent, which remains less than 3 per cent for the last 83 days.
Moreover, the Health Ministry informed that 76.57 Crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and a total of 54.77 crore tests have been conducted so far in the country. (KNB)
