Srinagar 1 July (KNB): Noted Social activist Inam Un Nabi has felicitated the Doctors of Country with deep salutes on the eve of National Doctors Day 2021, as well as called them the real soldiers of humanity .
In a statement, Inam Un Nabi said that On Doctors Day, we salute members of the medical fraternity for their dedication, hard work, and sacrifice in the battle against the pandemic. With their selfless and tireless service, the frontline heroes continue to save precious lives.
July 1 is celebrated as National Doctors’ Day by the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The day is observed to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of former Bengal’s Chief Minister Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. The day is dedicated to all the doctors and healthcare workers who have been serving the people by risking their lives.
Moreover, Inam Un Nabi lauded role of Dr. Naveed Nazir and other doctors from Kashmir who have given their valuable efforts in the fight against novel coronavirus.
He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed Doctors of Kashmir and world who laid their lives in the path of profession. (KNB)
