Srinagar 28 June (KNB): Following the attack on SPO Fayaz Ahmad yesterday evening in South Kashmir’s Awantipora area, IGP-K Vijay Kumar on Monday said that two foreign militants of Jaish e Mohammad (JeM) were involved in the attack.
Kumar said to reporters after visiting the family of slain SPO Fayaz Ahmad on Monday that two foreign militants of JeM have likely carried out the attack yesterday evening as the outfit’s movement is seen in the area.
He also said that they are investigating it further and will identify the attackers soon.
In the attack, three persons were killed after militants barged into the house of SPO Fayaz Ahmad. The three deceased in the attack include SPO, his wife and 23 years old girl. (KNB)
