Pulwama 29 January (KNB): A gunfight broke out between security forces and the militants in south Kashmir’s Lelhar area of Pulwama on Friday evening according to police.
The ongoing encounter in south Kashmir’s Lelhar, Pulwama, which police have confirmed, is the second in a day following the one in Tral today in which the forces killed three militants.
However, the police tweeted regarding the ongoing encounter in Lelhar as, “Encounter has started at Lelhar area of Pulwama. Police and the security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.” (KNB)
