Pulwama 11 Nov(KNB): An encounter erupted between militants and government forces in the Parigam area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir on Saturday.
According to reports reaching to KNB, a joint operation involving the Police and army was initiated, leading to a cordon and search operation in Parigam.
As the combined forces approached a suspected location, the militants in hiding opened fire, sparking a gunfight.
