Srinagar 13 August (KNB): A grenade was lobbed on security forces in the main town of Sopore district on Friday afternoon by some suspected militants.
As per an official, the grenade was lobbed near SBI Bank in Sopore’s main town on the security forces deployed there.
However, there was no loss of life or damage to anything reported in the attack, as per the official.
It was also said that one CRPF personnel was injured in the attack after receiving splinters.
Later, the whole area was cordoned off to nab the assailants. (KNB)
