Srinagar 1 January (KNB): A grenade was lobbed in the Central Kashmir’s Chanapora area near the bunker of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) forces on the evening of Friday.
According to officials, the grenade was aimed at the SSB security forces near the Chanapora bridge by suspected militants, during which no loss of life took place.
However, the security forces deployment near the spot of the incident was seen reverting the traffic, heading towards the chadoora and other adjacent areas, in the aftermath of the grenade attack.
Pertinently, the forces have launched searches in the surrounding areas to nab the attackers behind the incident. (KNB)
