Grenade Attack in Srinagar; Three Security Personnel, Civilian Injured

 

Srinagar 7 May (KNB): Suspected militants on Friday hurled a grenade towards Indian security forces in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, leaving three security personnel and one civilian inured.

Officials said that one civilian, two Central Reserve Police Force personnel and one police personnel sustained splinter injuries in the grenade attack on joint team of security forces.

All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where as the area as immediately cordoned off and search to nab the attackers was initiated, officials added.

Investigation is going on and provide further details accordingly, officials said. (KNB)
