Samba 12 May (KNB):Amid the dark hours last night, a grenade was hurled towards a Police party at a checkpoint in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said that during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday a grenade was hurled towards the police party in Nud area of the district.
However, in the attack, no loss of life, injury or damage was reported.
Officials said that grenade missed the intended target resulting in the explosion on the road. After the attack searches were conducted in the area and investigation into the incident is still going on, officials added. (KNB)
