Srinagar, Jul 26 (KNB): Militants on Wednesday hurled a grenade on CRPF bunker at Zerpora of Bijbehara in Anantnag, South Kashmir.
At least 5 CRPF men reportedly injured, and have been evacuated to the hospital.
Additional reinforcements rushed to the spot to cordon the area.
Lashkar took the responsibility of the attack.
Meanwhile Gunbattle begins in Chek Sugan area of Handwara in North Kashmir where two to three militants are believed trapped. One militant was killed at a time this report was filed, as the grenade according to police he wanted to throw on forces exploded in his own hand. (KNB)
