Srinagar 15 June (KNB): The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday ordered to constitute a team in each district for examining and recommending allotment/transfer of land.
As per an order copy lying with Kashmir News Bureau, the team would include an Additional CEO, MRDA/Divisional Commissioner, Jammu/Kashmir as its Chairman and Deputy Commissioner of the concerned District. Vice Chairman of the concerned Development Authority and Chief Town Planner, Jammu/Kashmir as its members.
The order reads that sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a Committee, comprising the following, in each district, for examining and recommending allotment/transfer of land by taking into account overall requirements of orderly and coordinated development of the region, for final decision by the Chief Executive Officer of the concerned Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
“The Deputy Commissioner shall be the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the respective Metropolitan Region Development Authority,” the order read. (KNB)
