Govt Orders Few IPS Officers’ Transfers & Postings, Rajiv Omprakash Pande Appointed SP NIA

Srinagar 18 October (KNB): Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday ordered for the deputations, transfers and postings of few IPS officers among whom Rajiv Omprakash Pande SSP Leh has been appointed as SP in National Investigation Agency (NIA) on deputation basis for a period of four years.   

Among a series of orders, one reads that it is hereby ordered that Danesh Rana ADGP (Co-ordination) PHQ, J&K, shall hold the charge of the post of Commandant General HG/CD and SDRF, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. 

Under order no. 242 Home of 2021, Rajiv Omprakash Pande has been appointed as SP in NIA on deputation basis for a period of four years w.e.f the date of joining the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, as per the order. If further said that the sanction is accorded to the transfer of Shridhar Patil SSP CID CI, Jammu and deputation to the Union Territory of Ladakh, with immediate effect, until further orders or till the final allocation is made in terms of Section 88(4) of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019. 

One of the orders sanctions the study leave in favour of Bhim Sen Tuti and grants him permission to pursue his Masters of Public Policy at London School of Economics and Political Science with effect from 14-09-2021 to 14-07-2022. The same order (241-Home 2021) accords the transfer of Sheikh Junaid Mehmood SSP Armed PCR Kashmir and deputation to the Union Territory of Ladakh. It further said that Shahid Mehraj Rather Commandant IR 6th Bn. shall hold the charge of the post of SSP Armed PCR Kashmir, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. (KNB)
