‘Tourists feel miserable at the unavailability of drinking water and washrooms’

Srinagar 18 February (KNB): J&K Apni Party leader and former Vice Chairman J&K Cements, Er. Nazir Ahmad Yatoo has asked the government to upgrade the infrastructure at the famous tourist destination Yusmarg, Budgam.
“It was completely heartbreaking to see the infrastructural conditions at Yusmarg after I visited the area,” said Yatoo. “There is no electricity and Tourism Development Corporation huts have been left to ruin. The staff posted there were absent and tourists were left in the lurch.”
Yatoo said that many tourists complained to him that the place doesn’t even have drinking water and washrooms which made them feel miserable.
Yatoo lambasted Yusmarg Development Authority for such a careless approach towards such a beautiful place. He demanded immediate attention from the concerned authority to make all the basic requirements available including an ATM and mobile phone connectivity. (KNB)
