Srinagar 6 May (KNB): The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday gave an official accord to appoint Dr Samia Rashid as Principal of Government Medical College, Srinagar.
The order copy lying with News Agency Kashmir News Bureau reads that sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Dr. Samia Rashid, Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, Government Medical College, Srinagar, in pay level-15 (182200-224100) with effect from 01.03.2020.
However, Samia was already at the post of Principal GMC, but the assent for it was yet to be given.
The order was undersigned by Pamposh Ganju under secretary to the government Health and Medical Education Department. (KNB)
