Srinagar, 30 November (KNB): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has granted a one-year extension to Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal, who is currently serving as the Director of the Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department in Kashmir.
This extension, approved under Government Order No: 561-JK (APD) of 2023, is deemed an exceptional case and will be effective from December 1, 2023.
The decision comes as a continuation of Government Order No. 279-JK (APD) of 2022, dated October 27, 2022.
The approval carries the endorsement of the Competent Authority and is communicated through a directive dated November 30, 2023, signed by Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government.
The notification further lists the recipients of the official communication including various government departments, commissioners, secretaries and other relevant authorities.-KNB
