Srinagar 26 August(KNB): In a recent development, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, a Senior Lecturer in Political Science at Government Higher Secondary School Jawahar Nagar Srinagar, has been suspended by Government under Order No. 251 -JK(Edu) of 2023, issued on August 25th, 2023.
As per the order copy which lies with news agency KNB, The suspension comes in light of alleged violations of various regulations, including Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations (CSR), Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees (Conduct) Rules of 1971, and J&K Leave Rules.
During this suspension period, he will be attached to the office of the Director School Education, Jammu, order reads.
The order also outlines that the suspension is a consequence of the alleged violation of the aforementioned rules.
The Government Order further appoints Subah Mehta, Joint Director of School Education, Jammu, as the inquiry officer. Mehta’s responsibility is to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth inquiry into the conduct of Zahoor Ahmad Bhat. (KNB)
