Gone for 15 Years, Qazi Mujahid Hilal’s Family Prays For His Return Home

 

Baramulla 30 November (KNB): Qazi Mujahid Hilal a resident of Delina village in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has been missing for 15 years, and his family still prays for his wellbeing and safe return to home.

Speaking to Kashmir News Bureau, a member of Qazi Hilal’s family said that he left his home 15 years ago and till now his whereabouts are not known.

“He was last seen in the Indian state of Punjab, and we’ve been doing everything in power to get in contact with him,” he said.

With tears in his eyes and an aching heart, Qazi’s father said, “I want my son to return home, it has been years since my arms felt him, I just want the people to help me locate him.”

He added, “If anyone out there is in contact with him, please tell him that I love him and can’t wait to hear his voice again, hear him call me papa.”

Mudassir Kakroo, a close relative of Qazi Hilal said, “He has not contacted us for many years now. He did this before as well in 2006 and that time I had to travelled from Delhi to Chandigarh to trace him and was successful in doing so.”

He added, “This time again I’ve been trying the best to contact him but so far every effort has gone in vain. Just like everyone is worried and concerned about his wellbeing, so am I.”

Talking to KNB, one of Hilal’s cousins, Qazi Syed Sajad said that the family wants him to return home. “The whole family is saddened to core due to his absence for years now.”

“I request people to share this as much as possible so that the news might reach to Hilal and he may talk to his father at least,” he added.

Syed Arif Qazi another cousin of Mujahid Hilal has requested netizens to share this news regarding the unfortunate disappearance.
He said, “All the dynasty is waiting for the return of the genius man.”

Qazi Mujahid Hilal has M.Sc (Chemistry) and his last known location was Punjab, according to relatives of Hilal.

However, Police confirmation about the missing person is awaited. (KNB)
