Srinagar 27 November (KNB): Founder member of BJP and State Publicity Secretary J&K Arun Kumar Chibber on Saturday resigned from the basic membership of his party.
Chibber said while addressing media persons that he has decided to resign from BJP and cited the reason of the party’s dissociation from the motive it had espoused in 1980.
“As we used to call that we are a party with a difference, today we have not been that,” said Chibber.
Responding to reporters’ question of his act against the current trend when others are joining the BJP party, Chibber said that “It is a point of inner soul and the ones who are coming are most welcome, but I am today resigning from the basic membership of BJP.” (KNB)
