Srinagar 4 March (KNB): Body of a young Kashmiri, who was allegedly killed in Gurugram city of northern Indian state of Haryana, today reached Srinagar.
As per Kashmir News Bureau sources, Aqib Rashid was found hanging to a fan in his room located in Gurugram, where he was reportedly working at ‘Jio Service’ in the city.
Amid mourning and grief, Abdul Rashid Bhat (Father of Aqib) told the media, “He (Aqib) was killed for being a Kashmiri.”
He also requested the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, SSP Delhi and other higher officials to conduct a transparent investigation into the matter.
Moreover, hundreds of people participated in the funeral procession of the slain youth. (KNB)
