Baramulla 13 march (KNB) : Acting on a tip off about the presence of militants in the area a cordon and search operation was launched in Chijhama Rafiabad village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Official sources told KNB that “32 RR of Army and Special Operation Group of J&K Police had launched a search operation in Chijhama village in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad after an input about the presence and movement of militants in the area.
The search operation continued for hours while no contact was established with militants during the CASO.
Meanwhile officials in police confirmed Kashmir News Bureau that search operation was called off peacefully.
