Srinagar 19 June (KNB): Security forces conducted a CASO in North Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday morning after the inputs about militants’ presence in the area.
As per officials, the searches were conducted by a team of security forces comprises of Army, CRPF and Police in Sopore’s Batpora area in the early morning.
The cordon and searches were carried after the inputs about the presence of militants in the area. However, the searches came after a deadly attack was carried out on the forces during which cops and civilians died.
The militants involved in the attack, as per police officials, were affiliated with the LeT outfit. (KNB)
