Srinagar 28 September (KNB): J&K’s every party is united on the Article 370 and 35 A’s reinstatement, said National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday in Srinagar.
On the sidelines of a function in Srinagar, Dr Farooq Abdullah said to reporters that “All of us together have to find a solution to this (Article 370 and 35 A) and if we cannot find a solution to it then there will be only an annihilation.”
Referring to youth, Dr Abdullah said that they have stood on their own feet and want avenues which we have to find. “If we cannot provide those avenues to them then the business drugs, which has started among our youth, would increase and could result in very difficult problems for us in the offing,” he said.
NC President further said that he and his party would try their best to find avenues for the youth. He said that they would also try to take the matter in the parliament.
Replying to a question, he said that they provide jobs to the people so that they can live and did not do any corruption in it. “We opened the doors at that time for all of them so that they could be saved and relieved from the problems. If LG has terminated them then he has done wrong. A very wrong thing has been done by snatching their livelihood from them,” said Dr Farooq Abdullah.
Abdullah also questioned the centre on the promise of 50,000 jobs, the word of which was given by the centre to them. He said that instead of providing jobs, the people are being terminated. Abdullah termed such termination of employees as wrong policy and warned the government to desist from such things.
Regarding the BJP, he said that they want to create a divide among the Muslims by using divide and rule policy, which has been used by them and would continue to use. “But we have to fight it and unity is the only way by which we can defeat these people,” said Dr Abdullah. (KNB)
