Anantnag 16 February (KNB): Fire gutted shop during the night in Nathpora Area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said that a local shop located at Nathpora area of Khanabal, was severely damaged in a fire incident which took place during the night hours.
Upon noticing the fire, locals of the area attempted to douse the flames and were successful to some extent but upon reaching the spot, fire fighters extinguished the fire and stopped it from causing further damage to the shop, which belongs to Shabir Ahmad Shangun, officials said.
Meanwhile, Police has taken cognizance of the incident. (KNB)
