Srinagar 19 June (KNB): In an overnight fire around nine shops got damaged in a market in Poonch’s Mandi area.
During the fire, around nine shops were damaged which were located in a market in Bus Stand, Loran in Mandi. As per locals, fire tenders came when almost all the nine shops were gutted.
However, following the fire’s inflicting of damage on the shops and locals alleging of fire tenders’ late response to douse the flames, the protest was held in the area against the fire and emergency department .
Pertinently, the police have taken up the investigation into it and an FIR has been lodged. (KNB)
