Srinagar, 02 September (KNB): A 33 year old Female dies in Tangmarg hospital after family alleges negligence on the part of doctors in sub district hospital at wadvun Tangmarg on Friday.
Talking with Media, family members of the deceased and locals of the area said, that the doctors are playing hide and seek as they always show irresponsive behaviour while delivering their services, adding this is not the first incident which has happened here, many others are to their credit.
They further said that the deceased was brought to the hospital yesterday at 6 pm for treatment where doctors did not pay any heed towards the deceased, and left our patient at God’s mercy, we were asked to wait and stated that our patients condition is stable and will be better soon. Waiting for hours they finally took the deceased to the ventilator were she succumbed.
Family members alleged the maladministration and irresponsive behaviour on the part of hospital administration.
As per family and other locals we urged and requested the hospital authorities to let us take the patient for advanced treatment if it seems so. But they did no pay heed towards us, and told us that the patient is all well and will recover in no time.
Having trust and believing doctors as next to God we left our patient on their mercy. If so was to happen then we would have surely taken our patient for modern and advanced treatment.Though doctors assured us that the patient is not such critical and will be better soon.
Meanwhile they further added, waiting for a whole night and finally making a drama of taking our patient to the ventilator was all preplanned and a concocted story only to hide their heinous crime which they committed by killing our patient. They further alleged that their patient was left unattended and uncared.
They termed it only a negligence and request the higher authorities to shift the whole hospital staff and take cogizance of this murderous crime.
While talking to Director health services Kashmir, he told news agency KNB that all such doctors who has been working in the hospitals for past 5 years would be shifted and transferred as govt is planning such, while he also said no one would be spared if found guilty in the said incident.
