Farooq Abdullah’s Property Worth 12 Crores Attached in Money Laundering Case: ED

Srinagar 19 December (KNB): Property of former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah worth 12 Crores has been attached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the money laundering case linked to the alleged misappropriation of funds of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, as per reports. 

 

According to the reports, the attached properties include three residential houses, one at Gupkar Road, Srinagar; one at Tehsil Katipora, Tanmarg, and one at Bhatindi in Jammu; commercial buildings at posh Residency Road area of Srinagar. 

 

Pertinently, Farooq Abdullah was questioned several times by the ED in the past. However, these are the latest developments related to the alleged JKCA scam which had surfaced in 2012 when National Conference-Congress coalition government ruled the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNB)
