Srinagar 02 June (KNB): District Administration Budgam on Wednesday launched an innovative and unique Rap song for encouraging the public to participate in COVID-19 vaccination drive.
An official communique issued to Kashmir News Bureau said that a video clip has been prepared by the District Social Welfare Office in collaboration with the District information centre, Budgam. “The Rap song featuring local rapper singer Shan Abey from District Budgam has a message for the public to actively administer Covid-19 vaccine to stop spread of Covid-19 pandemic,” reads the communique.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Budgam said that the vaccination drive is very critical for winning the war against COVID-19 and the public in the District should come forward and get vaccinated.
It further said that the DC hailed the efforts of the Health Department and other concerned departments in stopping the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
“No shopkeeper or any other service provider shall be permitted to open shop without being vaccinated,” instructed DC Budgam as per the communique.
