Srinagar 18 September (KNB): Encounter started between security forces and militants in Central Kashmir Srinagar’s Noorbagh area on Saturday afternoon.
As per reports, the encounter started after a cordon and search operation was carried out by a joint police, CRPF and Army in the suspected area of Noorbagh.
During the search by forces, a fire were showerd upon the parties from the holed up militants in the area, which resulted in the encounter between the two sides.
However, till last reports there was no confirmation of any casualty from either sides during the ongoing gunfight. (KNB)
