Srinagar 16 June (KNB): An encounter started between militant and government security forces in Naugam area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Officials said that an encounter is undergoing at Wagoora, Naugam area of the city in which two militants are trapped.
As per officials, on specific input about the presence of militants in the area, a cordon and search operation was launched.
As the team of forces reached the suspected spot, militants opened fire which has now turned into an encounter.
Officials said that Security forces on on the job and further details shall follow.(KNB)
