Shopian, Jun 07 (KNB): A gunfight has been raged on Tuesday between joint forces and militants at Badimarg village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said.
As per the news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB, on a specific input about the presence of militants in Badimarg area of Shopian, forces launched cordon and search operation.
“The hiding militants fired upon the searching party which was retaliated thus triggering a gunfight,” official said.
