Pulwama 5 November (KNB): An encounter has started between militants and forces in Meej area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
As per Kashmir News Bureau reports, earlier, on basis of specific information about the presence of militants, a cordon and search operation (CASO) was initiated by the forces in the area.
KNB reports reveal that during the CASO militants fired upon the forces, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter. Two-three militants are believed to be trapped. (KNB)
