Pulwama 11 April(KNB): In the early hours of today, a fierce encounter erupted between security forces and militants in the Frasipora area of Muraan in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to reports reaching to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that the encounter began following intelligence inputs regarding the movement of militants in the area. Security forces swiftly moved in to cordon off the region and launch a search operation. As they tightened the perimeter, militants opened fire, leading to a heavy exchange of gunfire.
